How does byMétis work?

ByMétis helps you terminate subscriptions or contracts by creating and sending termination letters to companies whose subscription or contract you want to terminate. You provide us with the necessary information, we draft the termination letter, and you can take the letter for free yourself or ask us to create, print, and send it to you for a price of 30 euro.

How much does it cost to send a termination letter through byMétis?

We charge an all-inclusive price of 30 euro for creating, printing, and sending the termination letter.

Will I receive a physical copy of the termination letter at my home?

No, the termination letter is sent directly to the company from which you want to terminate the subscription or contract. However, we can send you a digital copy of the termination letter by email upon request. You can find more information about this in the next question.

Can I get a copy of the termination letter?

Yes, a copy of the termination letter is attached to the confirmation email you received immediately after using our service. Also check your spam folder if you can't find the email right away. If you want another copy, feel free to email support@by-metis.com and we will send you a free copy of the termination letter.

Will the termination letter really be sent?

Yes, once we receive your order, we take care of sending it.

What do I do if I see a mistake in my termination letter?

Send us a message at support@by-metis.com and we will correct the error. If the letter has already been sent, we will send a new termination letter to the company free of charge.

Are the company addresses you use accurate?

We have collected all company information and regularly check it. If you find an error, let us know.

Can I use byMétis to terminate any subscription or contract?

Yes, byMétis supports the termination of various subscriptions and contracts. Regardless of the industry or type of service, we are happy to help you.

Does byMétis have partnerships with certain companies or services?

No, byMétis operates independently and we do not have partnerships with the companies to which we send termination letters on your behalf. Our service is designed to send terminations legally and directly in your name to those companies.

Questions About Payment and Billing:

How and when will I receive the invoice?

You will receive the invoice by email 14 days after the termination letter has been sent, and the payment term is 14 days.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment can be made via through the link in our invoice email.

Can I pay in installments?

Yes, you can contact us at support@by-metis.com and we will explore a suitable payment plan with you that matches your situation.

After Sending the Termination Letter:

How long does it take for my termination letter to arrive at the organization?

Once we have printed and sent your termination letter, it may take a few days to a few weeks to arrive at the organization depending on the postal service and the destination country.

How do I know that my termination letter has been processed?

Based on our experience, companies usually respond within 30 days to confirm whether the termination was successful or if more information is needed. Our job is to ensure that your letter is drafted and sent carefully. If you have questions after processing, we recommend contacting the specific company directly. They can provide you with the most up-to-date information on the status of your termination request.

Do I need to confirm my termination separately with the organization?

In most cases, this is not necessary. Once we have sent your termination letter, it is considered a valid termination.

Is my termination letter automatically sent to the organization?

Yes, if you choose to send your termination letter through us, it will be printed, mailed, and sent immediately to the organization.

Can I cancel my termination letter after sending it?

Since our process is fully automated, created and sent termination letters cannot be canceled or returned. ByMétis has already performed the service at your request by carefully drafting and sending the letter. However, if you decide to cancel the termination after sending it, we recommend contacting the company to which the letter was sent directly. They are the only entity that can possibly take action to consider your request.

What can I do if my termination is not accepted?

If your termination is not recognized for some reason, we recommend contacting the organization directly for clarification. They can explain why your termination request has not been accepted. Please note that our responsibility is limited to supporting the drafting and sending of the termination letter; after that, the responsibility for handling lies with the organization. Unfortunately, we cannot provide information on the organization's follow-up actions.
